Smartsheet Customer Review
Overall Rating
Finding the right software for project management can be a difficult task with so many available choices. Smartsheet is one of the most unique and most popular project management apps available right now.
Pros of Smartsheet:
Easy User Interface and Functionality -
Smartsheet has a clean and professional user interface that’s easy to use. It’s one of the reasons the software is so popular. Almost everyone who uses it comments on how clean and easy the interface is. Attaching files on Smartsheet is very easy too. It supports many third party integrations and different file types to make life easier. You can also write comments and create reminders.
Gantt Charts -
Having a hard time keeping track of projects or who is working on what? Gantt charts can show you the different tasks and who is working on them. This can make your job as a supervisor or team leader a lot simpler since you can get most of the information you need from these charts.
Smartphone Compatibility -
It’s fair to assume that we all want software that works well on our phones. Smartsheet knows this and does it well. You’ll be able to access all the spreadsheets and files from your phone. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android devices.
Cons of Smartsheet:
Cost -
People don’t like to spend too much on project management apps and software. When it comes to pricing, Smartsheet is on the expensive spectrum. Individual plans cost $14 per month while business plans cost $25 per month.
No Communication Hub -
There’s no central tab or place in Smartsheet where you can keep track of the comments, edits, and additions. While Gantt charts are helpful at identifying who is working on each project, keeping track of changes to projects and tasks can be difficult.
Excel Formula Compatibility -
If you’re switching from Excel to Smartsheet or shifting work between them, you might face some problems. Smartsheet isn’t compatible with all Excel formulas.
Smartsheet
Thanks to Gantt charts, I can keep track of different tasks and the people working on them. It’s still difficult to keep track of all comments and edits from one place.
Smartsheet
Smartsheet isn’t a free or cheap service. You’re going to need to pay for an individual or a business plan to use it in the long run.
